Judges Chair
Genevieve Lattimer is returning for a third year as Shad Derby Judges Chair. In 1989 she was a Queen's Candidate and was selected as one of the finalists. Genevieve received her Bachelor degree in Finance from Bryant College and began her professional career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Hartford, where she worked in various Human Resources roles for over 15 years. Meanwhile, Genevieve has always been active in the community. As a member of the Windsor Library Association she served as Fundraising Chair for several years. Genevieve serves as President of the John F. Kennedy School Parent/Teacher Organization and volunteers for the Walden Woods Neighborhood Association. She is also the Assistant Treasurer and Newsletter Editor for the Windsor Junior Women's Club. In 2009 Genevieve was nominated to participate in the Parent Leadership Training Institute (PLTI), which is funded by a grant from the State of Connecticut Social Services Department. She was chosen by her classmates as the speaker at their local graduation ceremony. Genevieve has many hobbies but especially loves spending time running outdoors. She and her husband, along with their three children, enjoy making Windsor their home.
Judges
Michael Elloian is a Certified Public Accountant who has been practicing in the greater Hartford area for over 18 years. He began his career in the Hartford office of PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, where he was promoted through the ranks to Tax Director. Currently Mike is the Senior Director of Tax at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where he is responsible for managing the company's global tax obligations. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Nazareth College of Rochester, New York and a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Hartford. He is a lifelong resident of Connecticut and currently resides in Rocky Hill. Mike enjoys spending free time with his wife and two young children.
Susan Prior is the President and Chief Operating Officer of VantagePoint Healthcare Advisors, a national consulting firm with offices in Connecticut and New York. Over her career Susan has served as a Director for a nationally recognized chain of nutrition centers, Project Manager and Senior Consultant focusing on strategy, workflow analysis, and operations. She has held various positions in an academic hospital system, practice management companies and has been responsible for oversight of the business, administrative, and information system functions for multiple physician groups. Susan's career focus has been with hospital-based physician groups and the challenges they face from operational, reimbursement and regulatory perspectives. This work has led her to become certified in healthcare compliance. Susan is a lifelong Connecticut resident currently living in North Haven with her husband of 22 years. She enjoys hiking, racing sailboats and fly fishing.
Virnitia Holston is the Vice President of Operational Effectiveness for the Travelers Personal Insurance Sales and Service Division. Virnitia has been with Travelers for 19 years and has enjoyed several roles within the company including positions in Litigation Management, Information Technology and Operations. She has been featured in Travelers advertisements in Fortune, Forbes, Working Mother, and Black Enterprise magazines promoting the company's commitment to internal career mobility. Virnitia is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Management in Organizational Leadership and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies and a Master of Business Administration in Management both from the University of Hartford. She was recently inducted into the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in Business and is a member of the National Association of Female Executives (NAFE). Virnitia was recognized as one of Connecticut's Most Powerful & Influential Women by the National Diversity Council in 2012. She is a proud mother of three and enjoys solving puzzles, listening to music, and traveling.

Timothy Carmon was born and raised in Windsor. He attended Loomis Chaffee School, graduating in 1999. Tim went on to the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion. Soon after college he passed the CPA exam and became a practicing CPA in the state of Connecticut. Currently, Tim is the Assistant Vice President of financial reporting risk at MassMutual Life Insurance Company in Springfield, Massachusetts. After marrying his wife in 2004, Tim moved to South Windsor where they currently reside with their two children.
