Windsor Shad Fest Bureau Member Organizations

The Shad Fest Bureau was officially chartered with the State of Connecticut  on May 7, 1975.  This was the culmination of many years of planning and work on the part of all organizations sponsoring Windsor Shad Derby Festivities . The Bureau was chartered to control and organize all Windsor Shad Derby Festival activities as well as determine policy and develop financial support for Windsor's Most Beloved Festival. The charter members of the Shad Fest Bureau were the Windsor Rod and Gun Club, the Windsor Chamber of Commerce, the Windsor Jaycees and the Windsor Junior Woman’s Club.
