Shad Derby Parade Participant Parking
All parade participants are required to park their vehicles in the Windsor High School parking lot next to the tennis courts. Parking at the parade staging area is very limited; please make every effort to carpool. The safety of children in the parade staging area is a priority. As a result, only vehicles participating in the parade are allowed into the parade staging area. Enter from Sage Park Rd, the Capen St entrance will be blocked. Capen Street closes promptly at 11:00 AM. The best access road to Windsor High School is Sage Park Rd.
Directions to the Shad Derby Parade Parking
From I-91 South
Take Exit 36 (Park Avenue). Take a RIGHT turn off the exit ramp onto Park Avenue. Proceed on Park Avenue and take fourth LEFT onto Sage Park Road. Windsor High School will be on your right. Parade participants will turn into the 2nd parking lot on the RIGHT next to the tennis courts.
FROM I-91 North
Take Exit 36 (Park Avenue). Take a LEFT turn off the exit ramp onto Park Avenue. Proceed on Park Avenue and take fourth LEFT onto Sage Park Road. Windsor High School will be on your right. Parade participants will turn into the 2nd parking lot on the RIGHT next to the tennis courts.
Shad Derby Day on the Green Parking Information
Parking in the center of Windsor on Shad Derby Day is limited. A Free Shuttle will be available between Windsor High School and Elm Street the entire day between 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
