Movie Night Under The Stars

Place: L.P. Wilson Community Center, 599 Matianuck Ave, Windsor, movie will be on the lawn in back
Cost: Free

This family fun free event is sponsored by the Town of Windsor Recreation Department. The outdoor movie will start at 8:15 pm. The movie will be shown on our 22-foot portable inflatable screen.

This year's family friendly movie feature is TBD

Blankets, flashlights and lawn chairs are encouraged. Snacks and soft drinks will be available for purchase. Pack a picnic, grab a blanket and take the whole family to enjoy a great outdoor movie experience.

Windsor Shad Derby Festival

The Windsor Shad Derby Festival is a long standing New England Tradition. The tradition began in 1955 with an annual fishing tournament to raise awareness of the growing pollution of the Connecticut River. In 1966, as the Derby grew in size a parade and festivities on the Windsor Town Green were added to celebrate & commemorate the Shad Derby Festival and promote the best of the local area through it's many resources, businesses and organizations.
