Judges Chair
Neill Sachdev is a small business owner in Windsor, and Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch, where the mantra of his practice is ‘I believe in entrepreneurship’. Neill is proud to be a part of this community. He is the President of the Windsor Civitan Club, and Governor-Elect for the New England District. He is the Vice President of the Windsor Art Center, Vice Chair of the Windsor Conservation Commission, sits on the Windsor Historic District Zoning Commission and board of First Town Downtown. Neill is a three-time past Shad Derby Festival co-chair, past committee treasurer.
Judges
Anita Maddali is a general dentist who practices in East Hartford, Connecticut. She attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where she majored in Zoology and Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience. She then attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now a part of Rutgers) for her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. She then completed a two-year fellowship at Columbia University in New York City where she was a Chief Resident. She has maintained a dedication to community service and outreach programs that help the underserved. In her spare time, Dr. Maddali enjoys spending time with her two daughters and husband. Her hobbies include creative writing, music, learning languages, reading and traveling. She has a particular interest in learning foreign languages and spends Sunday afternoons learning Mandarin with her daughters at Trinity College. She is continually honing her skills in Spanish as well.
Jessica McArdle is a public interest attorney who has focused her career on representing and providing zealous advocacy for underserved clients in child welfare and criminal matters in Western Massachusetts. Jessica is proud to be a member of the Junior League of Greater Springfield. Recent community initiatives have included a community forum on human trafficking, a diaper drive for new mothers and volunteering with Dress for Success and Ronald McDonald House. Jessica is a Connecticut native and graduate of the University of Connecticut (Go Huskies!) and Roger Williams University School of Law. Jessica has run four half marathons and enjoys hot yoga and traveling. Her favorite destination has been Thailand.
Anna Sielawko is a Vice President, Senior Financial Advisor and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor with Merrill Lynch in Hartford, CT. Anna has a Master of Science in Management and Finance from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Hartford. Anna worked with ABB Combustion Engineering for 17 years in various project management and engineering positions that included Nuclear Power plants, Nuclear Submarines, Titan Rockets and Space Shuttle Vehicles. Her successful financial planning and personal investments in stocks and bonds permitted her to achieve a lifelong dream of traveling the world. In 1989, she left her position at ABB Combustion Engineering and traveled extensively for the next eight years through Africa, Asia, South America and Europe. Having fulfilled her personal dream, Anna made a career change to help others in planning and achieving their personal and financial goals. In 1997, she joined Merrill Lynch in its Global Wealth Management Group in Hartford. As a Financial Advisor, Anna helps individuals, families, and small businesses plan and manage all aspects of their finances and investments. In 2002, Anna received from the Connecticut General Assembly Immigrant of the Year award for outstanding achievements, leadership and commitment to the Polish Community and Connecticut. Anna continues to be active in her community. She serves on the Advisory Board of the Polish American Studies Program at Central Connecticut State University and is a member of the Board of Trustees of Polish American Foundation. Anna is also a member of Rotary International and the New Britain Chamber of Commerce.

Timothy Carmon was born and raised in Windsor, Connecticut. He attended Loomis Chaffee in Windsor, graduating with the class of 1999. Tim went on to the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia graduating with a BS in Accounting and a BA in Religion. Soon after college he became a CPA in the State of Connecticut. Currently, Tim is the Vice President of Risk Management at MassMutual Life Insurance Company in Springfield, Massachusetts. In 2004, Tim moved to South Windsor after marrying his wife, Kristin, whom he met in college. Tim and Kristin have three children, Drew (10), Emily (8), and Luke (5), who keep them busy. This is Tim’s 13th year as auditor of the Shad Derby Queen’s Contest.
