Windsor Art Center Kid's Coloring Contest Info

Contest open to all Windsor students in grades K-5.
Flyers will be distributed in the Windsor elementary schools in early April and will also be available at the Windsor Art Center during the Center’s open hours (please visit website for more details).
Completed entries must be submitted by TBD. Entries to be mailed to the Windsor Art Center, 40 Mechanic St., Windsor, CT 06095.
Winners will be displayed at the Windsor Art Center on Shad Derby Day (Saturday, May 2020).
Winners will be chosen from each grade level and will receive a special art prize.

Windsor Shad Derby Festival

The Windsor Shad Derby Festival is a long standing New England Tradition. The tradition began in 1955 with an annual fishing tournament to raise awareness of the growing pollution of the Connecticut River. In 1966, as the Derby grew in size a parade and festivities on the Windsor Town Green were added to celebrate & commemorate the Shad Derby Festival and promote the best of the local area through it's many resources, businesses and organizations.
